received a much-needed boost to his confidence as he booked a place in a
first-hard court final for 18 months at the China Open.
In a season
during which the 14-time Grand Slam champion has struggled for consistency, he
can now look forward to a blockbuster final in Beijing against Novak Djokovic
after beating Fabio Fognini 7-5, 6-3.
